Salvation
If you died right now, do you know for sure that you would go to
heaven? You can! Here are four facts that you need to
know...

Fact 1: God says that all men are sinners.
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God,"
Romans 3:23. If you are honest with yourself, you know you
are a sinner. We are all sinners before a Holy God.

Fact 2: God says that the wages of your sin is
death. "For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of
God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans
6:23. We have earned death because of our sin, and what we
deserve is death... separation from God in hell.

Fact 3: God says that even though we are sinners,
He sent Christ to die for our sin. "But God commendeth His
love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died
for us." Romans 5:8. On the cross, Jesus paid the
penalty (death) for our sin.

Fact 4: God says that to be saved and have your
sin forgiven, each and every person must call on the Lord Jesus
Christ to be his or her personal SAVIOR! "That if thou shalt
confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine
heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be
saved." Romans 10:9.

It's as simple as A-B-C
- Acknowledge that you are a sinner before God.
- Believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross to save you from your
sin, and rose again on the third day.
- Call on the Lord Jesus Christ in prayer to save you.
When we pray and ask Jesus Christ to save us and forgive us our
sin, we receive Him into our heart. "But as many as received Him, to
them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that
believe on His name." John 1:12
Here's a sample prayer. (There are no magic words, just mean
it from your heart.)
Dear Jesus,
I admit that I'm a sinner. Please forgive me for my sins. I believe
you died on the cross to pay for my sins and rose again on the third
day. Please take me to heaven when I die. I right now accept you as
my personal Saviour.
In Jesus' name, amen.
